TERMS OF SERVICE Effective Date: 1/1/25 Royal Cleanse is a trade name of OTE Cleaning LLC (hereinafter referred to as "Royal Cleanse," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking a cleaning service with us, you (the "Client") agree to the following terms and conditions.1. Scope of ServicesWe offer Standard Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Move-In/Move-Out services, Hourly Cleaning, and Recurring services.Inclusions: We will perform the tasks listed in the specific service package you selected during booking.Exclusions: For the safety of our staff, we do not perform the following:Lifting or moving furniture heavier than 25 lbs.Junk removal or hoarding cleanups.Cleaning exterior windows.Biohazard cleaning (mold, blood, bodily fluids, animal waste, or pest infestations).High-reach areas (unless a safe, sturdy step stool is provided by the Client).2. Supplies & EquipmentRoyal Cleanse provides all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment (vacuums, mops, sprays).Trash Bags: The Client is responsible for providing small liners for trash bins and large garbage bags for heavy refuse/big messes.Client Equipment Preference: If you request that we use your specific supplies or equipment (e.g., your vacuum or specific chemicals):Royal Cleanse is not liable for any damage to your equipment.We cannot guarantee the cleaning results, as we are not trained on your specific tools/products.3. Booking, Payment, & PricingCredit/Debit Cards: We use Stripe to process payments. A hold (pre-authorization) will be placed on your card 2–3 days prior to the service to verify funds. The final charge is processed after the cleaning is complete.Cash Payments: Must be paid in full before the cleaners begin work on the day of service.Tipping: Tipping is optional and appreciated. It can be paid in cash directly to the cleaner or added to the card payment.4. Recurring Services & Promotional OffersTo provide our clients with the best value, we often offer significant discounts (e.g., "50% off first clean," "Free first clean") for clients who commit to a recurring schedule (Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or Monthly).Standard Recurring (No Offer Used): If you sign up for recurring cleaning without a promotional discount, you may cancel your recurring service at any time without penalty (subject to the standard cancellation notice in Section 5).Promotional Recurring (Offer Used): Any promotional discount applied to a first cleaning is contingent upon completing a minimum of 3 consecutive recurring cleanings.Early Cancellation Penalty: If you cancel your recurring service before the third cleaning is completed, the promotional discount is voided. You will be charged the difference to equal the full standard price of your initial cleaning.5. Cancellation & Rescheduling PolicyWe reserve a specific time slot for you. Last-minute cancellations prevent our cleaners from working.No Fee: You may cancel or reschedule up to the day before your scheduled cleaning without penalty (unless removing a recurring service under the minimum term limit—see Section 4).Late Cancellation Fee ($30): If you cancel on the day of the service, a $30 fee will be charged to the card on file.Lock-Out Fee ($30): If our team arrives and cannot access the property (e.g., doorman refuses entry, no key found, door locked), a $30 fee applies.6. Access & EntryKeys: Royal Cleanse does not retain copies of Client keys.Entry Methods: Clients may leave keys with a doorman, in a lockbox, under a mat, or in another secure location.Exiting: We will return the key to the same location where it was found unless explicitly instructed otherwise. We are not liable for keys once they are returned to the designated spot.Safety Clause: Our cleaners have the right to leave the premises immediately if they feel unsafe due to environmental hazards (e.g., severe clutter, structural damage) or harassment. In such cases, the full service fee may still apply.7. PetsWe are pet-friendly. However, for the safety of your pets and our staff:Aggressive pets must be secured (crated or in a separate room) prior to our arrival.Liability: Royal Cleanse is not liable if a pet escapes when we enter or exit the home, or for any pet-related stress or injury resulting from the cleaning process.8. Liability, Breakage & DamageAccidents: While we are extremely careful, accidents can happen. If a cleaner breaks an item, we will notify you immediately.Limited Liability: Our liability for breakage or damage is limited to the repair or replacement cost of the item, capped at $500 (or the cost of the service, whichever is lower).Notification: You must report any damage or breakage within 24 hours of the service. Reports made after 24 hours will not be covered.Exclusions: We are not liable for:Items that were already broken or unstable prior to cleaning (e.g., a shelf falling because it wasn't anchored).Unsecured valuables, cash, jewelry, or heirlooms. Please secure highly valuable or sentimental items prior to our arrival.9. Satisfaction Guarantee & RefundsWe take pride in our work. If you are not satisfied:Notification: You must contact us within 24 hours of the cleaning with specific details (and photos, if possible) of the areas that were missed.Remedy: We will offer a complimentary re-clean of the specific areas in question.Refunds: If a re-clean is not possible or sufficient, we may offer a partial or full refund based on the scope of the issue.Objective Standard: Refunds and re-cleans are based on objective criteria (e.g., "the floor was not mopped," "the toilet was not scrubbed"). We do not offer refunds based on subjective feelings (e.g., "I just didn't get a good vibe") if the cleaning tasks were performed to professional standards.10. Governing LawThese terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.
